Attention Getter -EL CAJON - A man who sexually assaulted a student in the parking lot at Grossmont Community College is the target of a police search. The woman, whose age was not disclosed, was assaulted about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, said Lt. Mark Coit of the El Cajon Police Department. The woman gave limited details of the assault to investigators, and the specific nature of the assault was withheld. Explanation of Solution – The buddy system would be implicated under the student safety brochure, a possible briefing on the start of every new semester and as a philosophy that the student body and staff encompass. 1. The battle buddy system was establishes to pair Soldiers into teams to teach teamwork, develop a sense of responsibility and accountability for fellow Soldiers, improve safety during training and reduce the likelihood and opportunity for sexual harassment, misconduct, and suicide gestures or attempts. 2. Though a battle buddy team may consist of three personnel to ensure all Soldiers are part of a battle buddy team. Male-female battle buddy teams are only authorized when there is only one Soldier of a particular gender and a same gender battle buddy is not available. Using a 2:1 ratio in these instances, team a solitary female Soldier with two male Soldiers or team a solitary male Soldier with two female Soldiers. (http://www-tradoc.army.mil) B.
