Buckminster Fuller Challenge. Richard Buckminster Fuller was an inventor , system theorist, author, designer and had many more qualities that made him a very innovative man. Buckminster Fuller in invented many things ranging from elements to large buildings. Richard Buckminster Fuller has some of his ideas that are used in relation to the modern day such as doing more with less, low cost energy effective strategies, systems thinking approach and system integration which he termed as ‘synergy’. Buckminster Fuller Institute have a very comprehensive design process which they use as a guideline for their design creations. For 27 years, BFI has served the international network of Fuller-inspired innovators through the maintenance of a comprehensive Information Clearinghouse on R.B Fuller, including a detailed inventory of the practices and principles informing Fuller's approach to design innovation. The Buckminster Fuller Institute is dedicated to accelerating the development and deployment of solutions which radically advance human well being and the health of our planet's ecosystems. We aim to deeply influence the ascendance of a new generation of design-science pioneers who are leading the creation of an abundant and restorative world economy that benefits all humanity.
