‘Brotherhood’ There are a lot of definitions that can define brotherhood. One of the meanings of Brotherhood is fellowship or alliance, however there is much more to brotherhood than that. Brotherhood is a result or outcome of shared feelings of experience with another person. There are different types of brotherhoods with different category of people. The first type of brotherhood is between the blood relation brothers. This bond is one of the strongest bonds in the world. Blood brothers are much more than just similar genetic relation. The biological bond creates a sense of belonging between brothers. The other bond that is shared by them is mental bond, since they both have the same upbringing and spend so much time around each other during their young years. The mental bond gives the other an understanding of awareness towards each other’s feeling and emotions, as they have been raised and brought up together. This allows them to bond with each other on a much deeper level as compared with two Co-workers or acquaintances. Another Bond amongst brothers is emotional, since they have gone through the same experiences both good and bad they are able to share their feelings openly and receive the necessary support. The saying that blood flows deeper than water is the right explanation to how strong the ties are between blood relation brothers. In the same way brotherhood experienced by best friends is just as strong as any other type of brotherhood. The only difference between blood brothers and best friends is that you get the chance to choose who do want to be your best friend. Best friends can meet in school, college or in your neighborhood they can be any one from anywhere. This choice is the bond that creates and builds brotherhood amongst best friends.
