Anyone that knows about good vacation spots knows that Brazil is known for its significant area. People from all over come to endure the culture of the Brazilian life that takes up 47.7 percent of South America, this fact alone shows there is appeal for people to do when visiting this country. There are events such as a carnival in the Sambodromo of Rio deJaneiro which is held in February. Many people also come to love some of the main dishes prepared in Brazil like Feijoada made from beans and various types of meats, also they have famous dishes with nacho’s and burritos. A lot of the time many of their culture base their meals off of their religion meaning some can or cannot have meats when they eat. Brazil religion practices are extremely diverse and span several different belief systems and religious traditions. Brazilian enjoys complete freedom to practice their personally held religious beliefs, so the country has religion from Catholicism to Candomble.
Brazilian culture and the way Brazilians live their everyday lives is very indicative of how time plays a large part in their culture. The Brazilian way of living can be explained by examining their traditions. The way they value their culture is very impressive. Spending time with family is very important. They gather together as often as possible and at the dinner table they share information about one another. Brazilians believe that it is very important for them to spend time with their family, especially during dinner time. At dinner, they discuss things that have happened in the past and stories that have been around in the family for many years. Brazilians are known to be late eaters and eat their dinner with family beginning at 8:30 at night. When after dinner time is over, they laugh and share jokes. Brazilians lunch time is one of their most important customs. Lunch time normally runs for two hours so they can spend their lunch time with their family.
