Debate Template: First Government Speaker Introduction: 1. Good afternoon Madam Speaker, ladies and gentlemen. 2. The topic for our debate is (State the resolution.) The United Nations is a useless organization in that it does not live up to its mission statements. Definition: 3. We define the topic as (Explain what the topic means, explain key words, and be specific.) That the United Nations says it is going to complete a lot of missions, or help a lot of countries but it does not live up to these ideals as there have been a lot of missions where the United Nations has not interfered or helped in any way possible. Throughout this debate we will be referring to the United Nations as the UN. 4. There have been many times where the UN could have helped or interfered or said they were going to help, or interfere in situations but decided to let things settle out on their own. Team Split: 5.
