Thesis: Solar Panel affect us people strongly because of its effects on society and the environment, but Solar Panels have some drawbacks that can always be fixed.
I. Solar Panel’s effects on society socially, politically, and economically.
A. Solar Panels affect society because it allows power to be obtained in many hard to reach places.
B. Solar Panels affect politics because the government uses solar energy as a way to get more money and to solve environmental problems.
C. Solar Panels affect the economy because they are very expensive and they hurt the economy drastically.
II. Solar Panels effect on the environment.
A. Solar Panels affect the environment because it prevents pollution from:
2. Coal Plants
3. Nuclear Plants
B. Reduces carbon emission.
III. The benefits and drawbacks of Solar Panels.
A. Advantage: Solar energy is a complete renewable resource. This means that even when we cannot make use of the sun’s power because of nighttime or cloudy and stormy days, we can always rely on the sun showing up the very next day as a constant and consistent power source.
B. Disadvantage: Solar power cannot be harnessed during a storm, on a cloudy day or at night. This limits how much power can be saved for future days. Some days you may still need to rely on oil to power your home.
IV. Suggestions for improving Solar Panels.
A. Increase the photon to electron energy conversion process using intermediate band transitions in ZnTeO
B. Increase the collection of solar photons by incorporating new transparent conductor materials/ structures based on low-cost ZnO that maximize optical coupling and trapping.
A. Solar Panels have effects on society socially, politically, and economically.
B. Solar Panels effect the environment.
C. If the increase the proton to electron energy conversion process is used, then Solar Panels can be improved.
