It is the inevitable, regardless of the relationship that may or may not form after the encounter. What develops after the encounter depends on both parties. Each of us has our own personalities, likes, and dislikes. Depending on the traits and characteristics people possess, they can become best friends or archenemies. My best friend and my archenemy have a lot in common with me. When I think of relationships, I usually think of family or an intimate relationship with a partner. But what about the type of relationship most people seem to forget about, the relationship that can sometimes consume a person’s life without them even realizing, the relationship you share with your archenemy. Even though I may be under the impression that my archenemy and I hate each other beyond all measures, I am in some form of relationship with them, as I am with my best friend. My archenemy and I usually share a lot in common including mutual friends; frequent the same places, and even personalities. Those similarities play a big part in why we despise each other; we’re so much alike we’re repulsed by it. Generally when people run into their best friend they get excited and laugh while beginning to spark a conversation. Also, when people run into their best friend in public they make plans to get together. Seeing my best friend puts me in a slightly better mood and brightens my day. When I run into my archenemy I normally feel disgusted immediately. I want to leave the location and run for cover. My best friend is very supportive and open-minded to my new ideas. My best friend cares about my overall well-being. My best friend wants me to succeed. An example would be me uploading a status on Facebook stating that I am swamped and
