Benjamin Franklins “The Way to Wealth” was an extraordinary piece of knowledge and wisdom. The passage that really grabbed my attention was on page 221 paragraph 3. After I read that paragraph I stopped for a second and just thought about the quotes, then I read the paragraph over and over again. I really admire Franklin’s quotes in this passage. In this paragraph Franklin states “lost time is never found again; and what we call time enough, always proves little enough:” This quote means a lot to me because it is extremely true, no matter how much time we have in the day it never feels like enough. Also time is precious and lost time cannot be found again because we cannot rewind time to do something over. Once something passes you, you are not going to be able to go back in time and do something different, so lost time IS never found again, as Franklin says. The other quote in that paragraph is “drive thy business, let not that drive thee, and early to bed, and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” This quote intertwines with the first one being that getting a healthy amount of time of sleep makes a man healthy wealthy and wise. As stated in this paragraph time management is the way to wealth. The way to wealth isn’t going to be a piece of cake; you’re going to have to take crucial steps to get there. This piece was really interesting to read and I really enjoyed all the quotes by Benjamin
