Benjamin franklin was one of the founding fathers of the United States and is a prolific person in who America is today. Franklin was born in 1706, in Boston, Massachusetts, and was one of his fathers seventeen children. Franklin is known as one of the most famous men who has ever lived. He had a determination to succeed not only in his life but also to help others to be able to succeed as well. He began his journey at the young age of seventeen years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with no formal education at all. Benjamin Franklin quickly became a leader where he took control over his own life and in the way that he helped others live their lives as well. He also developed a list of virtues to better himself and his attitude towards life itself. Franklin was also a very inspiring individual in the way that he expressed his religious views, which influenced others to be able to seek God into their lives as well. Benjamin Franklin’s formal education ended when he was only ten years old. Franklin became interested continuing his education while apprenticing for his brother james at a printshop. While apprenticing for his brother James, Benjamin decided that he would improve his education. Benjamin would read everyday and would also take writings, that were previously written by other famous authors and would rewrite them and would see if he could make them better. His apprenticeship with his brother James led Benjamin to start one of his own, The Pennsylvania Gazette. After many years of publishing for the Pennsylvania Gazette and writing books of his own, Franklin later on retired his business and worked for a number of years after developing projects for education. Franklin developed a list of virtues to better himself in his everyday life. He considered the virtues to be for his own moral perfection. Franklin wrote his virtues down in a book and would practice each one of them at a time until he perfected it. Franklin promised himself that he would put these virtues and adapt them into his life, which helped him to be able to live a life that others could see. Through the way that Benjamin Franklin lived his life led to others looking towards him as a leader and others also wanted to change their lives around as well.
