Vulgar language routinely appears in programs and movies which is accessible to youth. It is realistic and believable to younger youth which can lead them to aggressiveness. As with our American youth viewing these ideas, these images are imposed on the viewers, especially the younger generation. There is a huge amount of younger children that sit and watch television for many hours. In doing that it will handicap their brains.
In this essay I will be talking about how children are affected by television. Although many parents these days do not want their children to watch television, there are a lot of educational shows available today. Many parents may not want their children to watch modern television, and I would have to tell those parents that there are some shows out there these days that are very educational and they are aimed towards the young. Watching the educational cartoons can be very helpful for a child’s mind. There can be positive results emotionally, physically, and psychologically.

I would definitely say that Comedy Central's Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report are part of the "media" that affects people’s opinion. These television shows are a way to provide comedic relief to the issues our economy faces; however, these shows still have an impact of how the viewer will understand an issue at hand. It is very difficult for anyone to be completely unbiased and with constantly hearing other people’s opinion through the media. We cannot make a decision of how “we” feel about the topic. Thus, democracy and a fair voting group become tainted.
Entertainment has changed tremendously since the 1990's. A few of these changes are positive and beneficial, but I think too many of these changes are negative and harmful, especially to our children, the easily influenced, and those who are disconnected. It seems as if the most outrageous programs have taken over the airwaves. In the 1990's, it seems as if programs were more wholesome and family oriented. Our family enjoyed watching The Cosby Show, I love Lucy, and Three's Company.

Most of those found to result to spanking may be frustrated, and only trying to express their emotions.
Since the advent of cable television, there have been more and more fascinating programs sticking viewers, especially children, into the screen. This, therefore, creates certain complaints that it is wasteful your time watching TV. However, with all the benefits it provides, television is really worth watching. One of the strength points making television much more preferable than other means of information – supply, such as newspaper and radio, is that it can provide news together with animated pictures and lively sounds. Thus, viewers can get more details of the news and enjoy it much more than reading lots of words in newspaper or listen to voices on radio only.
