Being Lost in Central Park The writer Bill Buford explained that “Lions and Tigers and Bears” live in the Zoo at Central Park across from Times Square in New York and it was the safest place to be after dark. He also knew that getting caught after dark in Central Park at night could get him killed. Bill found himself getting lost in the maze of roads that are not lighted and the wilderness that lay all around him had started to look alike before he knew it. As Bill was trying to get himself to a safer place he kept running into people who he thought could be a vagrant or even a killer so he would keep his head down and eyes on the road. When Bill had stop to take a chilling breath and to have a look around he realized in an instant his heart rate had started to increase. A cold chill went running up the center of his neck and his hands were starting to get numb. At that moment Bill realized that he had become desperately lost in Central Park. Doing the day Central Park is full of life and has a wide range of visitors somewhere between ten and twenty million per year. As you enter the park pick up a map to get you around to the most popular attractions like the Metropolitan Museum or even the Great lawn. The one thing to keep in mind is to be out of the park before dark falls and if you have gotten lost locate a police officer as soon as possible if you want to make it out alive. It all started as a Journalist by the name of Bill Buford decided to spend one full night in the most naturist place on earth called Central Park in the middle of New York. Bill Buford was a total immersion Journalist he was the type of person that could not write his story till he had lived his story completely out for himself.
