Beer pong is drinking game where people take turns throwing ping pong balls across a table aiming for cups full of beer. It is a very social game. The game involves two teams with two people on each team. Each team stands behind their rack of cups. Each team has ten cups set up in a triangle formation. Each cup is filled halfway with beer. If the opponents make one another’s cup, that person on the opposite team must drink the beer in that cup. After the beer has been drunk, that cup is then removed from the table. Before you begin playing beer pong, some supplies are needed. The official beer pong website states that a table, ping pong balls, 20 16 oz. cups, and alcohol is required. The cost of beer pong can vary depending on the quality of supplies purchased. For example, a case of beer can cost anywhere from $5 to $20 and upwards. Also, the quality of ping pong balls can vary in price as well. The cups used in beer pong are relatively cheap compared to everything else required. The table used in beer pong can be a table you already own or you can purchase one anywhere from $60 to $200. How is beer pong played?
