I still have a passion for people and the subject matter that it involves. After shadowing some PA’s, I now have a greater sense of what the profession stands for and what one does in the profession, and it only makes me work harder towards my goal of having a long-term career as a physician assistant. There are so many other students around me that have no idea what they want to do with the rest of their lives, and I feel so lucky to know what I want to be when I “grow-up”, so to speak. I cannot picture myself doing anything else, and I can’t wait to move forward to achieve my goal of becoming a physician
From that point on, I was in wonder of the physical therapy profession and the amazing outcomes that are a direct result of their skills, knowledge, and passion to help people maximize their quality of life. When it came time to attend college I was faced with the decision of choosing a major. For most it can be a difficult one, but for me it was simple. I wanted to become a physical therapy assistant. I wanted to return the blessing that I had once been given and have the honor of bring back someone else's loved one's well being.
The dissertation process has been an important journey for me in which I have developed my independent learning. It has, however, been challenging at times. It has been a time consuming process needing much focus and commitment. At first, I thought everything would be straightforward and that I could manage my time, but it was hard to juggle between my part-time work and family commitments. In order to prioritise the dissertation, I took a short period of time out from work and held back from family events.
I need to become a master student to succeed in my academic and professional career. I am a home health aide now. I want to become a master student to upgrade my license to be able to do more at my job and become a better person in life and in my career. A master student has confidence and uses their skills to their ability to advance in life. I have a really hard time doing things because I have always been told I am not good enough and I can not do anything right.
The first reason is because a lot of people want a job that will pay very good money. By going to college, you will have the hands-on learning education you need to start your chosen career. This is a huge reason why a lot of careers require you to have at least a two or four year degree. Another reason why college matters is because it helps students boost their confidence level out in the real world. There are countless things that people have to do every single day in life so going college will help give you a better idea of what the definition of life really is.
I believe that there is always an opportunity to help an individual and to make a positive impact on their life. I am eager to pursue a career in which I am able to help and care for people, becoming an occupational therapist would allow me to fulfill this ambition. Occupational therapy is a career for dedicated, reliable, trusting people who are able to develop relationships with patients quickly. I have these skills and I genuinely want to make a difference to people, & assist them to regain their independence. This will be achieved through a standardised approach to assessment, rehabilitation, education and health promotion.
I was always a fan of wanting to control life, not letting life control me. But then I learned to stop trying to plan things too far ahead because even within a short span of seconds, everything can alter. So rather than planning my every step, I simply keep a destination in mind and work towards getting there. To begin, my greatest accomplishment in 2022 would hopefully be pursuing my dream career as a physician assistant. I will have achieved this part of the journey to my destination through my hard work and countless hours of dedication to meeting all the rigorous requirements necessary to the PA program.
I knew I wanted to do the same for others. Becoming a physical therapists will be a great way to interact and help other people which is what I enjoy doing. I also like to socialize with citizens too. While doing this you're helping people get back to their normal and positive side. Also, at times people get down on their selves during rehab.
I have several strengths that will help my ability to connect with patients on a more personal level and not just business. I am a very compassionate, dedicated, loyal and ambitious individual and I truly believe that having attributes as such, will make my career choice more rewarding and positive for both me and my patients. I believe that becoming a nurse is more than just some job or career, it is a treasured continuous learning process that is in search of life changing events and miracles. The only way one would be capable of achieving a goal as rewarding and beneficiary as this, would be by pursuing a college
