Introduction Bangkok is one of the most popular city in Thailand that offers a lot of fun and excitement. As it is recorded for “World’s Best City” by Travel + Leisure Magazine (2012), Bangkok attracts many visitors all over the world. There are a lot of attractive things to do and see, such as the beautiful panoramic, variety of food, culture, shopping center as well as nightlife. The cheapness in Bangkok is also become its own appeal for visitors that make it one of the top tourist destination. The researcher’s hypothesis is “Bangkok is the World’s Number One Tourist Destination in 2013 because it is Cheap”. The researcher has an interest of its own on the topic because she loves to travel, especially to the place that is cheap. The researcher wants to prove if the hypothesis true or false. The researcher also wants to know whether Bangkok is very cheap or not that could attract many visitors and became one of the top tourist’s destinations. The researcher would like to define the three main concepts of this hypothesis. Bangkok is stated as “the capital and the most populous city of Thailand.” (Wikipedia, 2014) Tourist Destination is defined as “a travel destination that attracts large numbers of travelers or tourists.” (WiseGeek, 2013) According to Oxford Dictionary (2013) cheap means “low in price, especially in relation to similar items or services.” The researcher counted with three sources, one primary and two secondary sources to complete the project. The researcher did a survey to 20 people who have been to Bangkok. They were asked to answer 10 questions about the following hypothesis. (see Appendix) For the secondary source, the researcher found a relevant information from the internet website that “Bangkok has beaten London to the number one spot as 2013’s most popular tourist destination, and it’s not just because of Thailand’s reputation
