As a distance learner you have discovered, I am certain, that the most challenging issue with distance learning is how to incorporate your studies and your regular life and still meet your obligations to your family and work. It is not always easier to determined what is necessary and what is not. You will have to make painful or unpopular decisions. You will also use this list to place activities in order of importance and eliminate unnecessary, activities that way you will be creating free time. Do not forget to include family time or household chores on the list. Have a study area that is away from the most used area of the house. You do not want your study area to be near the television so that you will be distracted by a program or the chatter of family members. Make sure your study area is clean and well organized with all the material you will need to work with. Next, you must know what time of day you are most alert. When you study it is important
