I grew up in a small town in Montana; the furthest I have ventured was on a family vacation to Disney World in Florida. Someday, I hope to explore and see the most famous and beautiful destinations in the world. Going on a Caribbean vacation to the Bahamas would be a dream come true “The Bahamas is comprised of 700 islands sprinkled over 100,000 square miles of ocean starting just 50 miles off the coast of Florida. The archipelago is an ecological oasis featuring 2,000 breathtaking islands and cays and boasts the clearest water on the planet—with a visibility of over 200 feet. You can see your toes as easily as you can the world’s third largest barrier reef” (The Island of the Bahamas, 2014). While in the Bahamas, I will relax along the white-sand beaches, enjoy the many amusement attractions, and experience the Bahamian culture. Island-hopping will allow me to experience the most scenic beaches. The beaches that I want to visit include: Gold Rock Beach, Lucayan National Park; Pink Sands Beach, Harbour Island; and Blue Lagoon Island, Nassau. At Gold Rock Beach, I will indulge in the clear blue water, lounge in the white sand, and explore Ben’s Cavern. At Pink Sands Beach, I will search for seashells to take home as a memento, snorkel, and walk along the trails close to the beach. At Blue Lagoon Island, I intend to swim with Bottlenose dolphins and to encounter Sea lions with the Dolphins Encounter tour. Swimming with dolphins for the first time will be an unforgettable experience! The Bahamas has several amusement based venues. Aquaventure Water Park at Atlantis Paradise Island, Waterscape, and Atlantis Resort are the sites of entertainment that I will spurge my cash. I will slip down the miles of waterslides and stand under waterfalls at Aquaventure Water Park and Waterscape. I will reside at the extravagant Atlantis resort. There, I will lounge on the lazy
