Loja had come from a large family of nine with a very poor background and a lot of suffering and pain but also were fortunate to have a little redemption and prosperity in their life, though they never became rich but they were able to attain the lower middle class status in their country.Loja was the second oldest boy of his family he knew just six of his siblings, his parent had lost three daughters to ailment that could not be cured by any amount of home medications. When loja was nine he had a vision that changed his life. he was playing with his brother pablo outside of their grandpa’s home, when he had seen the image that appeared to be as the image of jesus in a light that struck from the sky into the ground the image which appeared to be floating and looking down on them wore a white tunic extended his arms forward and the pale hands of jesus were pierced and bleeding just like any other countless pictures of jesus loja had seen. Loja felt marveled and from that point on he felt special and protected by a divine force. Later on in Lojas life he became a star athlete,which made him have no doubt that God was illuminating a path for him.
Since he was a child star, what he gained in performing experience cost him his childhood, he didnt get to do things other kids would do, go to a park, play with other children. He was often referred to as being Peter Pan like, the boy who never grew up. Because his personality was a bit like a childs (positively), he was able to relate to kids too, and a 12 year old cancer sufferer even said Michael cured him just by being him. He had
August Wilson (1945 – 2005) Although Frederick August Wilson never completed nor graduated from high school, he had received his education through libraries and was self-taught which enabled him to become a well-known playwright, poet and an African American activist. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to a white father who had never lived with his family, and a black mother from North Carolina. He shared his life with his mother and five siblings. He began reading at age four, after which he attended Catholic schools. He was picked on daily by his classmates in high school especially when they had written notes which were placed on his desk often degrading his nationality by calling him racist slurs.
He was well educated and, for a period of time, wealthy. However, he was never reported to have a bank account anywhere. Fluent in German, English, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, Saint Germain was very well educated. He courted Europe’s rich and famous for what is said to be hundreds of years. His impeccable manners allowed him to fit into any circle regardless of the fact that he came without any letter of introduction.
In fact, we could say that his problems started with the obstacles that his parents faced. Both of his parents, Henry and Tina Johnson, were ex slaves. Also, his father suffered from an atrophied right leg (5). However, his father was always ready to overcome his shortcomings. His brother was the big football player and his sister was one of the prettiest girls at school. Charlie only had one very good friend growing up. In the middle of spring in eighth grade he killed himself with one shoot to his head. He never made another friend except for an anon that he writes to. He never met him\her.
Jackson’s mom states that he rarely leaves his room and refuses to look for a job. Growing up with only his mother, gave Jackson no example of how to commit to a relationship, causing his lack of commitment to his previous relationships leading them to failure. Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman” is a tragic story of Willy Loman, the father of what can be considered a typical American family. Willy’s father was never there to teach him the importance of tradition, values, or healthy opinions. Willy has spent his whole life chasing the American dream of wealth and posterity working as a salesman. Now in his sixty’s he is suffering from memory loss, he has lost his job, and has no financial security. He never knew his father so he doesn’t have a good sense of his own identity, he makes poor decisions in raising his son’s by instilling a false sense of what it takes to be successful, and allows them to steal and cheat.
American youth The novel American youth is written by Phil LaMarche, and a story about a high school student, who’s life gets turned up side down after an accident, which killed one of his friends. Our main character, Theodore LeClare (Teddy,) is a high school student, who lives in Sandy Creek with his mother and friends. Teddy is a small, blond-haired and nimble boy; he is neither muscular nor manly. Teddy’s father works and lives in Pennsylvania, which is an 8-hour drive from Sandy creek, so Teddy rarely gets to see him. Teddy origins from a traditional American family.
. Charles did not find this funny at all, because he knew if he did the same thing, his mother probably would punish him. In this story Charles have a brother call GL, a brother who always get the attention of his mother the attention that Charles never had. In this story the hero’s journey is not finished, because Charles refuse to return, he refuse to make everything like it was before he left home, even if his mother try to make him understand, “you’re about thirty years too late, Mama” after this words Charles go to his bedroom, but this time Charles was different, now he was self confident and secure about himself, he was relief of all his hiding feelings, now Charles was a different person.
