The thing I was touch by the costumes design because of the fact I like fashion, how they would match up the costumes with the story. I think that would take talent and think critical real serious. Maybe one day I could come of across of design a costume for somebody play I think that would be big. After learn how the space, scenery, and lighting is the big issues in theater, with having all those thing in mind the audience could figure out what the play is about and some people now these day can’t always figure out what going by
Act 1 Scene 5 – Romeo and Juliet How does Shakespeare make Act 1 Scene 5 of Romeo and Juliet so exciting? Act 1 Scene 5 is one of the most important parts of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ because this is the scene when Romeo and Juliet first meet and it is love at first sight. Shakespeare has made this an enjoyable scene because he has used lots of emotions to make it more exciting and dramatic. Shakespeare makes the start of Act1 Scene 5 quite exciting because the serving men are preparing for some sort of party; this makes the atmosphere from the stage go into the audience because everyone is ready for what is going to happen next. Shakespeare also makes people know how rich Capulate is by the serving man saying “save me a piece of marchpane” marchpane was very expensive.
This allowed people to focus and drew attention to the action that was taking place allowing them to be part of the story and experiencing the full atmosphere. Therefore it drew the audience into this tense atmosphere as if they were feeling it too. Breen’s choice of making the set destructible meant that the actors could trash the set which gave the play a sense of unease. Instead of just concentrating on the acting by the actors itself, Breen created a full picture. Through the play the set went from a state of untidiness to a state of chaotic mess.
Explain how the sound design was used to enhance the tension at a particular moment in one live production that you have seen and assess the success of the effects created. On the 9th October 2012 we went to see a production of ‘The Country Wife’ at the Royal Exchange theatre, Manchester. An Inspector Calls is a socially contrasting play that explores people’s social views, political stances and standings. The writer, John Priestley uses the characters to symbolize how he saw society at the time. John Boynton Priestley was born in Bradford, Yorkshire in the September of 1894. His mother died the same year he was born and his father was a school head master. Priestley left school at sixteen and decided to write, mostly about social attitudes and political stances which he was inspired to do by his father’s socialist friends who believed that everybody should have an equal chance in life with fair pay and not have different social classes.
After learning so much about the various elements, concepts, and dedication that was put into the production of Nicholas Rzhevsky’s play, “Robeson,” it was extraordinarily intriguing to see the concepts come to life. The storyline of play effectively conveyed to the audience the whirlwind of ups and downs that were a part of what defined Robeson, in a unique and entertaining way. The inclusion of various non-traditional elements and a presentational set design in order to convey this “whirlwind,” successfully captured the attention of the audience and held it there. One of the most essential elements of the play’s success in delivering the concept was the design of the set. The simplistic, glowing white design of the set allowed for minimal distractions and centered the focus on the whirlwind of events taking place on stage.

One thing I was sure about is that my magnificent professor never steers her students wrong and that that evening’s festivities was sure to be a learning experience; and it was. First, the awards that were presented were great. I absolutely love the ‘quiet hero’ title because it gives recognition to the people who do great things for their communities. Dr. Zimbardo believes that every community possesses an individual or a group of individuals who deserves recognition for daily acts of heroism. Heroism can come in the form of many things, and Dr. Zimbardo most likely feels the same way I do pertaining to that.
