I am writing this in hope that the Markham Stouffville Hospital would be part of our Milliken Mills HIV/AIDS program. My main goal is to spread the message of this outrage sexually transmitted disease known as AIDS and to raise funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation at the same time. Millions and millions of humankind are miserably dying; they’re crying inside for our help. CREATIVE SPARK TALK ANALYSIS 2 Creative Spark Talk Analysis Sir Kenneth Robinson an English author/educator and creativity expert gave a presentation for Creative Spark TED conference in 2006 titled, “How Schools Kill Creativity.” The presentation centers on the issue of the way children are being educated and how their creative abilities are being stunted. Robinson advocates for a radical change in education to foster and encourage creativity. How does Robinson’s talk illuminate some of the stages of creativity? Robinson begins his presentation by speaking about education and everyone's interest in education. He surmises that we are teaching children for what is happening now, and not for the future.
Dasilva, Priscilla Mrs. Moore APLAC 2nd 8 September 2011 Revised Overachievers Essay In the book “The Overachievers”, the author Alexandra Robbins uses quite a few of different characters throughout the novel to provide first hand information on high school’s new-pressured educational culture. Robbins goes into detail with each student giving the reader a taste of what is actually going on in his or her life. After words, Robbins goes into further details providing facts from different studies and polls that relate to each student. Robbins argument was created by addressing the overachiever culture in each student and then giving the detailed negative consequences of the overdone society. Throughout her book, Robbins uses the same argument technique.
I chose the book Bomb: The race to build and steal: The most dangerous weapon. In choosing a book for summer reading, I read all the summaries of the selection given to my freshman English class. One of the major deciding factors for me was interested. Being able to read a book that can hold on to your interest. I enjoy watching the History channel and have often found interest in past event with armed forces, so when reading this summary I found it caught my attention, the story revolved around the war.

In the article “The Beauty of America”: Nationalism, Education, and the War on Terror by THEA RENDA ABU EL-HAJ, she basically was speaking about the way that the Palestinian kids in the schools systems were treated inversely after 9/11 . She enlightened us on how she started a group for the Palestinian kids to tell how they were treated and felt about the way that the teachers treated them post 9/11.
