Because we have homeostasis we also have a lot of other processes and these can both be positive and negative and to help make sure our bodily system is functioning properly. An example of this is that our cardiovascular system must always be working in the correct order to make sure that all your blood is being pumped properly around your body making sure that it is carrying all the oxygen and vitamins that we need for the production of energy that is in our organs. But if we do not get enough oxygen in our body we can all suffer because we wont have enough energy to make sure you get through your day to day activities. This could then lead on to other organ problems because you are making your body overwork when it does not have enough energy to be able to do this. This shows that you always have to make sure that you do as your body asks you, each when it’s needed and drink when its needed because your body needs energy to keep you going.
Therefore, we had 36 data points for micrometer calibration. The caliper was calibrated in very similar way as micrometer. The six gage blocks caliper used were 0.105, 0.11, 0.16, 0.3, 0.5, 2 inch. Record all data in lab notebook. After the calibration, select one of unknown blocks in the shelf.
Heart Rate and Physical Fitness The circulatory system is responsible for the internal transport of many vital substances in humans, including oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nutrients. The components of the circulatory system include the heart, blood vessels, and blood. Heartbeats result from electrical stimulation of the heart cells by the pacemaker, located in the heart’s inner wall of the right atrium. Although the electrical activity of the pacemaker originates from within the heart, the rhythmic sequence of impulses produced by the pacemaker is influenced by nerves outside the heart. Many things might affect heart rate, including the physical fitness of the individual, the presence of drugs such as caffeine or nicotine in the blood, and
1. Explain cardiorespiratory efficiency as one of the components of fitness Cardiorespiratory efficiency is one of the components of fitness with which the body delivers oxygen and nutrients needed for muscular activity and transports waste products from the cells. 2. Discuss how it can be improved. Give specific examples.
