Mongolian DBQ Mongolians are the great power of the world during the 13th and 14th century. No major society has ever conquered as much of the world as the Mongolians. While Mongols had success conquering nations, they had a common reputation as barbarians. Through close examination and analysis I found that the Mongolians of the 13th and 14th centuries weren’t very barbaric at all, in that they had advanced military, great innovations, and unique social and cultural ideas.
