However , there are some solution can provide equal opportunities to all students such as better training for teacher and grant programs. One major problem with school inequality is that some schools are not being provided with the resources to succeed. This can cause developmental delays or learning disabilities. Lastly, children from low-income families don’t have the resources to buy learning tools such as books or computers. Lack of educational resources can result in a mediocre education, which prevents the child from ever achieving a decent paying job. Stuck in the vicious cycle of poverty, the child may suffer depression and turn towards substance abuse in order to escape the stress of their life. A lack of income hinders a child’s education and ultimately their long term growth and development.
They like to have a break from being i school as well, and would not appreciate having to work all year. Without a break, and having to deal with the students, the teachers would be annoyed and even more tired than the students. A 12 month school year also would not be good for the school itself. The Costly Effects of Compulsory Education Millions of people believe that compulsory education does not have a clear educational objective. Moreover, they feel it takes away way too much money from the United States government. Compulsory education’s main purpose is to make certain that all kids in the United States up to the age of 17 or 18 years old must attend one of the well-formed types of education: private school, public school, or home-school. However, compulsory education has not proved to effective for the overall population in the United States.
