Cognitive Computing Assignment
Data generation in the digital age is growing very rapidly. Studies show that 90% of the data in the world today was generated in the last two years alone. Of that, 80% is unstructured data. These trends have significant implications for many industries, and being able to effectively utilize this data and unlock its potential will mean new discoveries and insights.

IBM has been at the forefront of technologies that go beyond data analytics and venture into the field of cognitive computing. IBM Watson, a cognitive system, is able to parse through human syntax, learn, and reason. As part of this assignment, you will investigate the burgeoning field of cognitive computing and explore ways to apply your findings in a real world setting. Assume that you are a project manager at a large organization (private or public sector), and you believe that cognitive systems can be very useful within your organization. You are currently developing a project proposal that you will submit to the board for approval. If the proposal is accepted, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive plan.
