When reading this article, I assume everyone would rush to question themselves. “What would I do with my wealth?” I for sure came across this question and thought about it for quite a while, thinking of all the pro’s and con’s but I always came across this quote I read from somewhere, “The things you do for yourself die with you. The things you do for others live forever.” This brings me to what I decided I would do with my wealth, that is, if I ever have any. To me the right choice would be to modify the first two modes Carnegie described. To leave money for my family and to leave money for public operations I would feel deserved the money. This seemed to be the right thing to do for many reason. One reason is that family in my eyes is the most important thing in my life. Without them I am nothing. So knowing this, having the feeling that everyone I have unconditional love for is set and happy, would give the greatest sense of closure to me. I want the loved ones in my life to be happy, successful because they want the same for me at all times, that’s just the way it is and the way it will always be. Now after saying this, I wouldn’t mean to give to the people I know don’t need it. That would be a pointless act and a waste of money in such that I would be giving money to a pointless cause.
