I knew that not only was I about to experience art in general, but that I was about to see art from all over the world, from hundreds of different societies and time periods. Art ranges from the primitive inscriptions on wood to large silver shrines; from the pyramids of ancient Egypt, to a child's drawings. Artwork takes many different forms and while everyone has their own style and taste, it is too difficult to measure the true worth of art. What is simple and most worthwhile advice for anyone interested in art is to see the beauty in all of it. When I proceeded to my first exhibit I was, honestly, mildly amused.
Abstract There are numerous employment opportunities when it comes to the graphic design industry. Some of which include employment within an advertising agency, an in house design department, and as a self-employed freelance designer. As with most careers, each have their own positive and negative aspects, and these are important to consider when deciding which scenario is most beneficial for each individual. In any of these positions, adding value to an employer is vital when one has the desire to grow within the company and expand knowledge of the industry. It was also interesting that Márquez’s influence for writing came “by drawing cartoons.” This struck me because it didn’t come from some unique person or event in his life, but rather an activity that is the beginning of every child’s creative mind. Additionally, it was a simple first like of a novel that began his magical realism career. Its great to hear stories of people revisiting their childhood and places they grew up, (I still ask my Mom to take me on such trips) and for Márquez to use all of this as the sole basis of his writing just aids in his technique. He takes real life events, describes them in such detail that you must believe they are true, then implements his novelist twist.
You can do this in the comfort of your own home. My experience of art net was wonderful. I really enjoyed the art net, because I got a chance to view a lot of designs that I have never heard or seen before. Mostly some of the artwork had a profound impact on me, because I got a chance to view art in my culture, as well as learning about art from different cultures. I listed just a few that I liked overall.
The thing readers notice the most about all of the pieces of art is that they all share some sort of similarity, even if their style is different. The experience of viewing this piece compelled me to go home and do some research on these distinct pieces. I found several websites that uncovered the history of this art work. I discovered many other pieces that I admired. The individualality of each piece make them something special. Nothing could compare to the fascination I had with the Gnathia-Ware art I encountered at the museum.
The hunting-and-gathering society of the caveman was depicted by pictures and artwork on pottery of caveman days and early settlement days of the US and Europe. Moving along we see examples of both the horticultural society and the agrarian societies in the tools that were displayed as art but were utilitarian in their day. Moving further we could see the industrial and post industrial in many of the devices and inventions that were on display for purchase. Finally as mentioned earlier there were the postmodern artists that take their influence from the media and advertising as an art form. Overall I would say the day was both enjoyable and very educational.
In this example lines show direction and motion and clearly define the borders of the form. The lines in this work are also expressive; swirling curves, lattice and rules. Lines are composed of everyday items; string, measuring tapes, Styrofoam cups ect… The presentation provides us with many lines to follow with our eyes as we explore and consider the aerial display. In this example the lines we encounter do not define a subject for the observer, merely a visual odyssey for us to enjoy. This artwork allows us to simply enjoy the experience of looking, because the lines take us on a visual adventure.
In creating a majestic artwork, it is often the artist who imposes certain molding so that the craft will appear according to the message the artist wants to convey. He performs every stroke and every pinch considering the objects future form and the thoughts that will soon linger amongst the gazers. However, sculptress, Julie Lluch took her dedication to artistry to a very personal level. She permitted the medium to have its way of expressing its views about the world. Thus, Thinking Nude encompassed the qualities of a truly individualistic opus.
And as a member of a discourse community we are required to follow others suggestions and share the same body of knowledge as they do in order for us to comprehend why the groups object on certain issues and approve on certain issues. As a member of an art club, I know that I have to accept any art critics being thrown at me, and respect other people’s criticisms that are not in art club. I also have to demonstrate my art skills and my creative imaginations wholeheartedly in each of my art pieces that I submit for peer review and to teachers for them to acknowledge my art pieces. By doing so, I can proudly say that I am part of an art club community, but also to show that I can influence other members in the community such as my art teachers or art classmates by convincing them why I deserve to be in their
