Jennifer's parents were born in Puerto Rico, but did not meet until they both came to America. Lopez’s mother's parents were Europeans who settled in Puerto Rico. She says that it was her parents' work ethic that made a difference in her life. Jennifer took singing and dancing lessons from age 5. After high school, she briefly worked in a law office.
She was very much a tomboy in her younger years. To tone down her liveliness, when she was 11, her mother enrolled her in the Jones-Hayward School of Ballet. When Conchita was 15, a teacher from George Balanchine's School of American Ballet visited their studio and she was picked along with two other students to audition in New York. Education Chita got into the school, but shortly after began her career in Broadway for the audition for the national tour of Call Me Madam. She was only supposed to be supporting her friend but gained the role instead.
Her mother would sing with Ofra when she was little, which later, Ofra attributed to her own talent and success. At age 12, Ofra joined a theatre group in her little village of Tel Aviv Hatikvah. The founder of the group, Bezalel Aloni, immediately recognized her shining talent. From then on, he became her manager and remained loyal till the day she died. With the encouragement of Bezalel, Ofra accepted more opportunities and by the time she was 19, her solo career was on its way.

Through many obstacles including jobs, boyfriends, family issues, and complicated lies the two ladies discover their own perfect family. At the end of the movie when Angie Ostrowiski is in the hospital having her baby Kate Holbrook passes out waking up to find out that she is pregnant. Baby Mama has some laugh out loud moments, and in general I found myself smiling through the whole thing. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler do a great job in this movie with their crazy humor and great acting skills. Their experience from Saturday Night Live (SNL) reflects in their humor on the big screen.
Music Analysis Mus-120 December 4, 2013 For my presentation I choose the song “Love Into the Light” by Ke$ha. When people think of Ke$ha, they usually think of someone who just wants to party, dance, and have sex, but there is more to her and her songs than just that. Kesha Sebret was “born in Los Angeles on March 1, 1987” (Kesha). She moved to Nashville shortly after, with her mother, Pebe Sebret, and her older brother Lagan. Ke$ha’s mother was also a singer/songwriter, which influenced Ke$ha at a young age and got her familiar with writing and recording songs (Kesha).
Today she is known solely as Madonna. Her first album was released in 1983. Before this, like many other famous singers, including Gaga, she dropped out of college and moved to New York City to pursue a career in dance. After her first album dropped, she kept on churning out one hit after another. Some of her number one’s include “Vogue”, “Like A Virgin”, “Express Yourself” and “Papa Don’t Preach.” Madonna has dabbled into the film industry, but it is clear that music is her calling.

She was discovered by producer and record executive, Vincent Herbert who signed her to Interscope Records as a songwriter. She worked with famous artists such as Britney Spears, New Kids on the Block, Fergie, Pussycat Dolls, and Akon who later signed her to his record label, Kon Live Distribution.
