All the cards are dealt, and you have already placed half of your money into the pot. Suddenly the player in front of you raises a small amount. You are pretty confident that you have the better hand but you also know that there is a chance that he may still beat you. To put this into perspective, the Vietnam War, which was way more lethal and lasted sixteen years, only cost the nation, factoring in inflation, around $527 billion. Most people don’t realize how much $1.27 trillion actually is.
