In order to understand homosexuality, you must understand full what it is. Homosexuals are attracted to their same sex. However, with that said this does not mean that the gay man wants to be a woman or the gay woman wants to be a man. Most are satisfied in their own body and they are just intimate with a person of their own sex. (Rathus, Nevid & Fichner-Rathus, 2005) Historical and scientific viewpoints are greatly significant in the way that gay persons distinguish themselves today and how the development of gay communities have grown and changed.
I think that the way others perceive the gay lifestyle, as in the cultural perspective, would maybe make me self conscience and would maybe even make me weary of coming out or allowing others to acknowledge that I was gay at all. I think that I may even go through a denial stage because I would not want others to look at me in a negative way or to be afraid of me because I were gay. I also think that the biological perspective may even influence my view of my sexual orientation if I were gay because there would be a possible chance of my selection being genetic or hereditary. I think that biologically my point of view on the gay sexual orientation would actually be more positive than negative because then I would feel a bit more at ease because being gay was not just a choice but the way that I was born. I think that for me being born gay or the thought of being born gay would actually give me a little more comfort in knowing that it is the way that I was created, not that I made what some people would consider a bad choice or a good
This gives catfishes self-actualization, and that having a online romance with the same sex creates a false sense of belonging, acceptance, and to a greater extent, love. Addicted to attention All catfishes are attention-seekers. Most female catfishes pose as models posting pictures that receive likes on faceook. To them, every like they receive means that somewhere out there people have noticed their beauty. They want to feel that people go heads over heels for them.
Gay Marriage PHI 200 Gay Marriage Gay marriage is something that’s between two people who are of the same sex. Most people don’t accept this type of situation because they feel that it is completely wrong. Some people rather that people be happy no matter who they are with, male or female. When it comes to a person who starts off being gay, usually it because of a past event that happened in the past or just that most people have those certain types of feelings or desires towards a person of the same sex. One cannot say why this has happened or one cannot say it’s a disease of some sort.
I know so many people that are gay, and they seem to be very happy. I would hate to see the ones that I love could not be happy because marriage laws were change back to traditional weddings. I dislike what is going on with people trying to change the law to ban gay marriage. These laws have cause most of society to neglect people that are relationships with the same sex. I think every person deserve to be happy no matter if they are straight, gay, lesbian, or bisexual.
M Compare/Contrast English 101 Changing Times, Changing Gender Gender roles, regarding to marriage, love, appearance, and career choices, have been reformed by society in the past few generations. These topics are very prominent in today’s society’s expectations; every person feels pressure to fit into these expectations. I believe people should not change who they are to fit society’s expectations, but society should change the expectations to fit the people. Before beginning the compare and contrast section of this paper I would like to define a few terms. I talk about ‘gay’ marriage, and use multiple different homosexual related terms, so by defining a few terms I would like to give you, the reader, a better understanding of the LGBTQ, lesbian gay bisexual trans* queer, community.
Through her writing, however, she is able to stand up for herself and give voice to her experiences as a lesbian Chicana and thus to fight the oppression she encounters. There is this poem I liked as well which is, “Trying to be Dyke and Chicana by Natashia Lopez (84).” And what I like about it is how people label everyone, so she literally talks about how to call her “dyk-ana”, “dyk-icana”, “chyk-ana”. She is not ashamed to be a dyke Chicana. And that is how most people should feel, not to be ashamed of anything, you are who you are, that is what makes you so special. And another one that I liked was, “Porque el sentido de la vida es la misma by Lidia Tirado White (23).” She says, “La sexualidad es gran parte de la vida.
The topic that we are focusing upon is diversity in sexuality. Within this topic I will be outlining discrimination against homosexuals and also strategies to potentially stop the discrimination against gays and lesbians. This issue is definitely a sensitive topic to talk about, not everyone agrees and each person has their own opinion and views. Even by talking about this issue in class discussions you can see that some are more open minded and accepting of homosexuals then others, and they do somewhat get thought upon differently because of their sexuality. Most elderly people have been brought up to disagree with people liking the same sex because of the way they have been raised throughout their childhood.

There is a high demand from both supporters and the opposition to amend the Constitution to define marriage. 3) Your opinion. a) In my opinion, both have their accuracies and both have some absolutely ludacris suggestions. I have never been a big supporter of the gay and lesbian community, but if my answer to the debate had to be cut and dry yes or no, I would say yes, gay marriage should become a constitutional
