Animal Testing Satire

As the sound of a whimpering dog fills the air a scientist grabs the needle to take the poor animal out of its misery, the saddest part of it all is he or she is the one that is causing suffering to this animal. To the scientist the dog was just another experiment gone wrong and will soon be moving on to the next creature until he finds his antidote. Unfortunately, for the animals that have been experimented on, it’s the only life they’ve ever known. Just over the last decade there have been millions of animals that have lost their life due to scientific research, and the numbers only continue to grow. Some companies have a strong belief that animal testing is essential in order to make sure that consumers are protected during the use of their products. For the fact that we allow this to happen in our world is pathetic, and it all comes down to pure selfishness’, an ugly trait in which human’s possess. How can it be rational to take the life out of something because it can’t show or tell someone if they’re in agony? Numerous of people look at animal research as dollar signs instead of realizing the heartache that is involved. Due to the millions of dollars made each year by companies it will be hard to end this devastation; but we must never give up. By taking actions and realizing that humans have gone too far with such a selfishness act is the first step to making it a safer world for animals.
