Animal abuse has been overlooked for years.   Animal testing is one of the many forms that can be controlled by the government.   Animals test incorporate many negative aspects including cruelties, the difference in the effect of animals and humans, and other ways to test products.
Animals are cruelly abused in test labs every day.   Each year in the United States an estimated seventy million animal are mained, blinded, scaled, force-fed, chemically and genetically manipulated, and other wise hurt and killed in the name of science, by private institutions, household products and cosmetic companies, government agencies, educational institutions, and science centers (Animal Testing Facts 24 January 12).   There are millions of animals being abused every day.   Why is an animal’s life any less important that a humans life?  
When in tests labs animals are being ill-treated.   Many universities are changing the way they practice medical research.   Previously students or professors would anesthetize dogs, inject them with various drugs to observe effects and then kill them (Kelswer pg. 9).   Live dogs are being put under anesthesia sliced opened and there body parts are taken out so medical students could learn about the human body.   In archalc medical training courses pigs and dogs are cut open and killed and cats and ferrets have hard plastic tubes forced down their delicate throats (Peta 24 January 2012).   Animals and humans do not even have the same immune systems.   How are these tests even helping medical students if the anatomy of an animal isn’t the same as a human and they are studying to be in the medical field?   Monkeys are adicted to drugs and have holes drilled into their skulls, sheep and pigs have their skin burned off and rat have their spinal cords crushed (Peta 24 January 2012). The tests that are on these animals have effects on the animals that show how they will react on humans. The tests cannot have the same effects if they aren’t the same species....
