Gotta Share – Video Description This prank named “Gotta Share” was conducted by “Improv Everywhere” at the GEL conference, the annual gathering of tech/social media/business voices in New York City. After conducting some research, I found out that “Improv Everywhere” is a New York City-based prank collective that has certain missions in order to cause scenes of chaos and enjoyment for general public. This video shows a musical which emphasizes the fact that social media used around the world today through different applications such as facebookFacebook, Ttwitter, linkedinLinkedIn etcetc., has become an important part of everyone’s lives to the extent that even their basic daily activities are shared online. Audience The musical was conducted at the GEL conference where social media tycoons are present to discuss new projects in regards to online networking. The prank would have directly impacted the people present in order to remind everyone the importance of these media gadgets and how interconnected the world has become. On a broader scale, the “Ggotta share” musical would be used to target people who are currently using these applications or those who possesses enough technology to use the applications. The age of the target audience would range from the youth generation, teenagers in particular to young seniors including professionals. Intended Purpose The direct aim of the undercover agents from “Improv Everywhere” was to prank the members of the GEL conference and set up a lively musical to add stand up comedy and humor to the proceedings. However, a less obvious purpose operating below the surface was to highlight the importance of technology in people’s lives today. Through their lyrical strength, the undercover agents explained the various ways of how social media could be used in different aspects of everyone’s lives ranging from professional work
