Creative Writing A tear slowly fell from Tricia’s eye as Paul walked down the hall and outside into the cold afternoon. Paul couldn’t believe what just happened. Where did everything go wrong? He just wanted to the person he had liked since first grade to be happy, but everything was ruined because of a stupid kid. Paul remembers the first time Tricia walked into the class.
Facing My Fear At Six Flags The bus ride was blurry to me now. I couldn’t remember anything anyone said or did on the bus ride to six flags. The week before, when my 7th grade class was told about the surprise field trip, everyone was exited, even I was, until I had heard what everyone wanted to ride-the cyclone. I could go on roller coasters, but not the cyclone. It had too many twists and turns that made my heart skip a beat.
The first chapter was told by FiFi, the youngest sister. In the beginning she was mad about the book Yolanda had wrote. She even was on the way to the Grocery store, when she seen pictures of Yolanda posted all over the place, so she did a U-turn and drove home to give Yolanda a call. When she called Yolanda she did not answer. Which was most likely a good thing.
When the bus moved, I was saying to my youth pastor that this was my first time going to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA! So, then she said(laughing), ”There are rides that are extreme and rides that will make you pee your pants!” We got there a little early, so we had to wait in line because the parking lot wasn’t open yet.
We were in the store to purchase Halloween stuff. I was at the end of the isle looking at movies and when I confronted her after hearing it she stated it was bad parenting. Because of this lady we put slot of our stuff back and will not be going to this particular Walgreens again. They will be losing a customer that spends a lot of money in their store due to bad customer service. Walgreens has Reach toothbrushes on sale for $.99 each.
The clock that she had bought with her own money had been destroyed along with other various school supplies. She was grading papers when we got there and didn’t notice us at first. We told her that we had tried to sell cookie dough to Mr. Walters and Mr. Voltz but they wouldn’t buy any. She felt sympathy for us and agreed to be our first customer. In conclusion, to try to raise money for senior prom, Riley and I tried to sell cookie dough to Mr. Walters, Mr. Voltz, and Mrs. Kodrich.
Since I have grown up in a suburban area, it was much easier for me to relate to the kids who grew up there. For instance, I was surprised to see the football players hiding their crying faces their loss. Last year, the school softball team made it to the state finals but lost. I can remember trying not to cry but I lost it as soon as I saw my parents. I started crying right in front of my parents, sister, and all of my friends and fans there but I didn’t care.
At one point in time in my life one of my teachers told me that I would never graduate or attend college and that I would most likely be knocked up before my junior year. But like Catherine I used that as fuel and proved everyone wrong. Not only did I graduate from high school but I am currently attending college. I am also happily engaged to the man of my dreams, no kids yet but definitely considered when we are both ready. I was definitely moved by this play, enough so I want to go and rent the movie and watch it with my fiancé.
The town’s people at first recognize her as a stranger or outcast, but as time wears on people get over it and realize she is just as normal as any other human. “Individuals in private life, meanwhile, had quite forgiven Hester Prynne for her frailty; nay, more, they had begun to look upon the scarlet letter as the token, not of that one sin, for which she had borne so long and dreary a penance, but of her many good deeds since”(Hawthorne et al. 139). The townsfolk have an unparalleled amount of jealousy for her having an affair, and being able to wear what the folks say is an attractive looking letter. The townsfolk develop a mysterious wonderment as to why Hester seems relatively unfazed wearing the letter day in day out.
