On September 11, 2001, the United States of America was attacked. On September 11,2001 a terrorist well known as Osama Bin Laden attacked America with onboard passenger in the airplane and flow into the world trade center in Nyc, and the Pentagon on Tuesday morning. More than 3,000 people died that morning because of one man hate; cause Americans are better than tham. This tragic attacked changed Life in America for ever for everyone. September 11, 2001, This day will remain in many people’s hearts forever. Great changes occurred not only in the attitude of the American people, but the nation’s security and economy as well. Before September 11th the nation was peaceful. The average American went to work, worried about they’re daily chores oblivious to what could happen if the nation was suddenly attacked. The American flag took on a much different meaning then. Before it was more of just a symbol of the land, America, not for the struggles it took to maintain this free nation. The flag was hardly seen except for in sports arenas and on flagpoles outside of schools, government office and court house and the national anthem just a ritual before a sport game. This day will remain in many people’s hearts forever as a day when the history and the attitude of the American people changed forever. American patriotism had been taken for granted prior to September 11, but changed greatly the following months after the attacks. 9/11 changed my life in terms of how I view those running our government. Instead of rallying the people together our government saw it as an opportunity to manipulate people's fears to achieve an agenda that had absolutely nothing to do with protecting the American citizens. 10 years after 9/11, is America a better place Sadly, the answer no. In the ten years that have passed, a fundamental shift in our culture has occurred.
