Barack Obama has many similarities with the first five presidents of the United States of America. Barack has many similarities with the first president of the United States George Washington. The first similarity is the common opinion about the role of the government. They both believe in a big, strong, powerful centered government. The founding father George Washington is the founder of the financial sector of the United States. He made a huge impact on United States when he created the first Bank of the United States and that was a central bank. Obama also had many similarities with Washington's decisions as they both wanted to grow the economy from the middle out, not the top down ( barackobama.com). Including Obamacare which will help give millions of Americans peace of mind. Another issue in common with Barack Obama and George Washington is that in both their times they handled foreign policies well. In Washington's time the big foreign policy revolves around relation with Britain. The French and the British had a war which led Washington not knowing who to support. He took the decision not to support any of them, he wanted to stay neutral. He says that the United States must be united and have a strong American identity. They both broke into new territories, Washington was the first president of the United States, and Obama was the first African American president of the United States. Both of these presidents made huge impacts on this world today and the new identity of the United States of America. Mitt Romney has many similarities with the first five presidents of the United States of America. Mitt Romney has many more similarities with Thomas Jefferson than any other of the first five presidents. The first common topic has to be about the rural voters.
