Plato uses the description of “Darkness” to possibly imply there are false realities that we each have and uses “sunlight” to stand for being enlightened by the “new world”, which is what the released prisoner was to experience. The “cave” is referred to as the “little world” that they are living in. I feel as if it is just a small part of the world that they know V/S the Larger world they should explore They are not free because they don’t know what experiences is outside the cave. They have been sheltered and not allowed to see for themselves what life can really be. The “shackles” are like a symbol of how they all have this same way of living and thinking.

This is similar to Plato's idea the material (body) trapping the immaterial (soul). Plato's prisoners in the cave are in a state of mind called 'eikasia' (image or likeness) this is due to the use of their senses that create a false reality. Plato describes this as the lowest state of mind of understanding, and carries guest work and opinion with it. Furthermore there is an unquestioning mentality with most of these prisoners accept everything at face value. This includes the shadows caused by the flickering light, illustrating the unsubstantial reality they are shown.
However it is reachable by passing through different limitations His Both Plato and Descartes argue that humans are trapped by wrong assumptions and beliefs. In his essay Allegory of The Cave, Plato proves how people are fooled to believe in wrong ideas. He uses a cave to present the world of sight, in which people are prisoners since the day they were born. The people in the cave cannot see the light, neither each other’s, because their hands and neck are chained and they cannot move. These people only see what in front of them is.
Plato compared the world to a cave, where no truth is ever found. In the cave there are prisoners, representing us because just like us they cannot see true beauty. The prisioners in the cave are described as being chained to the floor, and all they can see is the wall where the shadows of the perfect forms are seen. The prisioners see it as a distortion of real perfection. A prisoner from the cave (Socrates) escapes.
Hypothesize the basic short-run and long-run behaviors of the model in the industry you have chosen in a “market economy.” Netflix became an instant hit when it opened its virtual doors in 1999, offering a wider variety of movies. In the short run, despite its misstep of increasing prices, Netflix is still a leading competitor in the movie rental industry. The company is continuing to remain ahead due streaming its videos over the internet and its mail order DVD system. In the long run, the industry is considered to be a moving target because the tech industry is always introducing new innovative content and new products. Analyze at least three (3) possible areas for the industry that could lead to transaction costs, and explain each in detail.
Back then games rarely had voices so gamers had to read a great majority of the time and that’s where my reading got a whole lot better. Those six I use quit frequently and do help me here in the real world and for other gamers their top six lists might be different but none the less high leveled thinking. The next one on my list is the second most important part of video games, bonding. Especially with children this one is great. I do this activity with my best friend’s 7 yr. boy and our bonding is awesome.
THE ALLEGORY OF THE CAVE The following is an excerpt from Plato’s dialogue called “The Republic.” In this section of the dialogue called the “Allegory of the Cave,” Socrates creates an allegory to help illustrate his theory of knowledge. “Now then,” Socrates said, “let me tell you a story about ignorance and education which will explain the condition of man’s nature. Imagine that there is an underground cave with a long entrance open to the light. In this cave men have been chained from birth, fettered by the neck and legs so they cannot move. They cannot turn their heads around; they can only look forward at the wall of the cave.
