Air Pollution Air pollution is a mixture of natural and manufactured substances in the air like molecules made by the burning of fossil fuels and noxious gases kinda like sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and chemical vapors. India has the worst air pollution in the world followed by Bangladesh and Nepal. The United States ties with many other countries for fourth place, including Japan and Argentina Air pollution is the cause of major health effects. Every year the health of a bunch of people is ruined or put at risk by air pollution. Old people are highly vulnerable to diseases caused by air pollution. Also people with heart or lung disorders are under more risk. Little kids and infants are also at major risk. Many diseases could be caused by air pollution without you even knowing you have a problem for a long time. Diseases such as bronchitis, lung cancer, and heart disease could all appear in people exposed to air pollution over time. Air pollutants such as ozone, nitrogen oxides, and sulfur dioxide also have bad effects on natural environments. They can destroy plants and trees also can kill animals especially fish in highly polluted rivers. Also other respiratory diseases such as asthma, cardiovascular diseases, changes in lung function, and death. There are two main types of pollution control. One involves preventing a problem before it happens or reducing the effects the process will produce. Five important solutions are people may try to confine population growth, reduce energy, boost energy efficiency, reduce waste, and move to antipollution renewable forms of energy. Also you can use water, solar, battery powered cars. The other way seeks to fix the problems caused by air pollution. This mostly means cleaning up an area that has been damaged by pollution. The
