During my visit I enjoyed the atmosphere, the taste of the food, and the friendly service. As Red Lobster continues to treat its guest like family, this well-known Seafood restaurant will remain my
When Jonathan Harker first visits Dracula’s castle, he is confronted by three female vampires in a scene where he drifts in and out of consciousness. In his journal, Harker describes the three vampires: “There was something about them that made me uneasy, some longing and at the same time some deadly fear. I felt in my heart a wicked, burning desire that they would kiss me with those red lips. It is not good to note this down, lest some day it should meet Mina’s eyes and cause her pain; but it is the truth” (Stoker, 3.40). As Harker tries to control his sexual desire for the three vampires, he feels both attracted to them, and disgusted by them.
When Dracula bites certain victims such as when he attacks Lucy and Mina, it symbolizes him having a sexual interaction with these two women. To stand out, however, this form of “sex” is only for his own personal needs and only cares about getting his blood or as represented by Stoker, is only in care for having “sex” with these two women. Lastly, this symbolizes Dracula as crafty and needing as when Lucy and Mina are given blood transfusions, Dracula only cares for himself and when the time is right, sneaks in and takes in the blood for him as with the three lady vampires that worked under him. For the group of Arthur, Dr. Jack, Van Helsing, and Quincey blood also represents a form of “sex” but not as abrupt as with Dracula. When the group does the blood transfusion, it represents the bond between these characters as if they were married to Lucy.
The service is great from the time I walk through the door of the restaurant. The servers are very nice while taking dinner orders and taking care of all guests. I also love the Italian specialties. I usually start with their homemade soup with grated cheese on the top and freshly baked garlic bread sticks. After, I order delicious lasagna, stuffed ravioli, or chicken and seafood Alfredo.
Harker’s provocative description of these women turns the Victorian ideals into alluring acts of human sexuality. “I was afraid to raise my eyelids, but looked out and saw perfectly under the lashes. The girls went on her knees, and bent over me, simply gloating. There was a deliberate voluptuousness which was both thrilling and repulsive, and as she arched her neck, she actually licked her lips like an animal” (Stoker 39).The description of the women vampires illustrates the lust and weaknesses that men have for controlling women. The sisters are a prime example of how Victorian men are weakened by aggressive sexy women.
Men are thus tried to repress and prevent the liberalization of women, which would term them as socially outcast. In the book its shown portions where women are in the need to liberate as shown in the summary of Lucy, even before becoming a vampire, she exerts an aura of subtle sexually and a flirt. According to Stroker he asks, “Why can’t they let a girl marry three men, or as many as want her, and save all the trouble?”(Stoker, Ch. 5 May 24).This shows that Lucy has a desire to break out of constrains of Victoria in their social expectations though the desires lie

Now that's a resume. And he's been investigated by the Secret Service for threatening to impale George W. Bush. His 2008 campaign blog has posts that are mostly about declaring a Satanic holy war against Muslims and something about turning an 18-year-old girl into a vampire. Also a lot of death threats
Act 3 Scene 4 By Roman Polanski In this essay I will be looking at the film interpretation of act 3 scene 4 of Shakespeare's Macbeth directed by Roman Polanski. In Act 3 Scene 4 Macbeth has ordered the killing of Banquo and his son Fleance. He has done this because the three witches said that Banquos' children would be a threat to the throne. He is told that Banquo is dead at the banquet celebrating that Macbeth is on the throne but Fleance had escaped. In this essay I will be looking at the film interpretation of act 3 scene 4 of Shakespeare's Macbeth directed by Roman Polanski.
Rather than gain eternal spiritual life by consuming wine that has been blessed to symbolize Christ’s blood, Dracula drinks actual human blood in order to extend his physical—but quite soulless—life. The importance of blood in Christian mythology elevates the battle between Van Helsing’s warriors and the count to the significance of a holy war or crusade. The three beautiful vampires Harker encounters in Dracula’s castle are both his dream and his nightmare—indeed, they embody both the dream and the nightmare of the Victorian male imagination in general. The sisters represent what the Victorian ideal stipulates women should not be—voluptuous and sexually aggressive—thus making their beauty both a promise of sexual fulfillment and a curse. These women offer Harker more sexual gratification in two paragraphs than his fiancée Mina does during the course of the entire novel.
