Most people shudder at the thought or sight of a Pit Bull and consider them vicious atrocities, but I will show that Pit Bulls are innocent and really are just misunderstood. I would like to give some facts, dispel some myths, and show the side of the breed that the media chooses not to tell. American Pit Bull Terriers were first introduced during World War I and World War II. The job of the Pit Bull was to deliver messages back and forth across the battlefield. Pit Bulls were first bred to bait bulls and bears as a sport back in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, but soon became more commonly used as house pets due to their friendliness towards people (Brom, 1987-09, p.14).
Around the world there are Army’s like the one in this book, that do not care what they are shooting at or killing, even if it is a poor animal that has done nothing wrong. Lastly, people have many problems they will have to deal with throughout their life. In the book, Sophie’s mom leaves the sanctuary to go study Bonobos across town. While she is gone the Congo Army comes and kills the workers at the sanctuary but Sophie gets away with Otto. She has to take care of herself and the baby Bonobo.
"The Lion King" The moral of the movie "The Lion King" is "Your past is always your past. Even if you forget it, it remembers you"(Quotes). The movie tells about a young lion prince, named Simba, who has a tragic accident as a cub and turns his back on his past and where he came from. The story begins with simba just being born and his kingdom bowing with respect for him and his parents, Mufasa and Sarabi. Simba being born made his uncle, Scar, second in line to recieve the throne and this angered his uncle very much.
So after many pleads and pleases to my parents, it wouldn’t just be one bulldog at the Browning household. Meet Bella, the runt of the liter. Olga and Bella didn’t hit it off at the start. It was Olga’s house, Olga’s food, Olga’s toys, but now she had to share them. This sounds pretty familiar for most siblings, because they really were like a family fighting and not wanting to share.
The third reason for choosing this book is its many twists and turns. As a result, once I started I did not put down the book until the end as I kept anticipating the next event. For example, when the angry she-bear was about to claw Arliss and I thought that would be the end of him, Old Yeller suddenly leaped out of a nearby bush and saved the boy. However, when Travis commanded Old Yeller to chase two fighting bulls away and I thought he would obey, he just ran off instead. The atmosphere in the story is both tense and exciting and the plot is well-paced.
“Horace, we may have fought in the past,” Will said “but I don’t hate you, I never hated you.” Another example is when Will, Halt, and another ranger named Gilian were stalking the kalkra, giant bear-like creatures that could stop your heart if you looked into their eyes. Will had to go back to get help from the castle, and returned to help Halt and Gilian, even though he was mortally afraid of the kalkra. the last example of his loyalty was when he decided to stay a ranger, even though he was given a chance to join Battleschool , as Rodney realized that Will was just as capable, if not more capable than any other Battleschool
She wrote Tiger Tiger as a memoir of her fourteen year relationship with Peter and everything that came with being “in love” with him. It is a shocking eye opener that takes readers on a journey through the eyes of what may seem as the wrong behavior yet, for Fragoso it was all she knew. Marguax’s up brining was in a poor neighborhood in Union City New Jersey. From the beginning, her parents never considered their family to be broken yet, it was. Her father Louie did the entire house work and provided for Marguax and her mother; while he complained that neither of them did anything or appreciated him at all.
When Eckels arrives in the forbidden jungles roamed by dinosaurs, Travis gives the group simple orders to stay on a designated floating path located in front of them. Reason is, stepping off the path would lead to major changes in the present, which is what Travis antagonizes. Eckels responds to his rules, “Then it wouldn’t pay for us even to touch the grass?” Sounding rather doubtful, Eckels questions Travis’s rules that make him be annoyed of Eckels. As the story continues, more rules are applied to the trip and Travis starts to hate the way he is. After explaining how killing an animal will destroy generations of it to come, and yet Eckels still doubts Travis saying, “so they’re dead”, “So what?” The attitude in Eckels reveals the disobedience he has towards the rules that Travis applies.
