Advantages and disadvantages of Internet In Malaysia, the growth in the number of Internet began around 1996. Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that contains of millions of private, public, academic, business and government network. A survey is conducted to study how the Internet changing the way we behave. Millennials (also called Generation Y or the echo boomers) are the people who born between 1977 and 2000. This group has something in common is their utter fluency and comfort with digital technology. Therefore, this group was the first generation to grow up in a world filled with computers, cell phone, satellite TV, iPods, and social network. Of course, this group is also exposed to the Internet. Responses A survey had already carried out to 102 of respondents (18- to 27-years-old, student or working employee). According to this research, Internet has brought a lot of changes to people nowadays. It includes how the way the people think and how the way the people behave. In this research, we would like to discuss about how is the Internet change the way we behaves. Result Information Resources. Firstly, majority of respondents get information through the Internet. There are 98% of respondents agree the Internet offers them the possibility to get information from all over the world in an easy and fast way. The search engines like Google, Yahoo let the people get their information from all over the world. Today, Millennials are among the top user who surf the internet for research or the purpose of gathering information. There is 31% of respondents would like to use Internet to searching information out of 102 of respondents. This shows that searching information through the Internet makes people feel more convenient and reliable. For example, people don’t need to buy newspaper by using money but they can read the daily news
