I have four requirements that need to be met including, 3.0 GPA or higher, 18 or higher on the ACT, 95% attendance, and a high school diploma. I support free community college because it gives opportunities, it can lower the unemployment rate, and save money. Free community college can give opportunities to lower class people who can’t afford college. If these people want to go to college, but they can’t, now they would be able to. They would be able to receive an education to help them get a job and make money.
I chose to attend Southwest Virginia Community College (SWCC) for a number of reasons, and here are my seven main reasons. The first reason is that it is far less expensive to go to SWCC than a regular university. Another reason is SWCC has a smaller campus than a lot of other universities. Additionally, it offers smaller classes, more personal attention, and greater student/teacher interaction. The fourth reason is SWCC’s plentiful automobile parking.
Did you know many people distinguished that year-round schooling is more expensive, that we need more summer, and it also does not affect on education. If people want to go for a vacation with their family, then we need summer. Just for two weeks is not enough for spending time with family. Now, many people distinguished that year-round schooling is more expensive. Throughout the 45 days of school the expenses increase which makes a huge difference.
Both are at the least twenty minutes away. Driving back and forth to school everyday could become a burden after awhile and that cause students to transfer to the school they are closest to. There are plenty of ways that Langston University could do to improve the campus. If they take time to listen and hear the voice of the students then the university could improve. Comparing the similar type of condos located around UBCO, OC, and downtown Kelowna in the same period, the prices at most differ by 150 hundreds. The cause of this difference mainly comes from the age of the condo but not the location. There is one exception, however, the new building in UBCO may not be a good choice for students due to its high rental price. Yet, the new building deserves the high price. It attracts the students with the perfect location, two minutes walk to campus, and the fascinating facilities, brand new furniture.
College Monthly Budget Project While inputting info on my college monthly budget worksheet I realized a few things. One thing is that community college is much cheaper, you must limit your spending, and last but most importantly do not overspend. Community college is so much cheaper. If you have a certain amount you want to spend but still want to get a great education than community college is a great place for you. Although you may not have the full college life experience it is a great way to get you your degree and get you on track to your career.
When you’re young all you can do is picture your future. You see yourself located in the suburbs in your big home, owning fancy cars, sending you future children off to the college of their dreams, and finally moving in to the sunny retirement home in the next town over. However, as Linn reminds us, reality is more complex. The economy is improving slowly says Linn, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. The harsh recession our country has dug itself into is possible to recover from, but just as any illness can leave you under the weather for a long period of time, the economic struggle we face will take time to fix as well.
At ACLC, I could take classes during the school year if my schedule and free periods allowed it. That allowed me to take more classes at the College than any Encinal or Alameda High student. With advantages like free periods and the ability to take college courses year-round that prepare you for college classes and life, I am pleased that I didn’t choose to go to a traditional high
Commuting to College or School, Not A Bad Idea. Paying for an education in today’s society has proved to be a challenge to many. More and more students are opting to commute to School instead of living on campus. There are many financial and convenience benefits to being a commuter student. The commuter student saves money on housing, food, and laundry.
What do you think of the base business plan in terms of the potential for demand for services as described? (15%) There is potential demand as long as they target the right group of people and they differentiate themselves correctly. However there are many alternatives around the same area where they want to be located: eSince is placed within walking distance to many offices the business professionals seems like a good market with high disposable income, but not a significant one since they don’t share the same schedules (mostly after work, before work and lunch break). I would go for sports professionals since their time schedule is more open and they can charge a premium. Through word of mouth this could make bring other categories of customers to fill in open hours of the gym.
