Decreased social mobility is hard on the lower class because without being able to move forward, they are stuck in a cycle of poverty. Quality public education is their best ticket out of the lower class and rebuilding a middle class. The government has to realize that education is such an important tool and the US has been a leader in this since the 1930s, but they didn't stay leaders because their commitment is waning. Higher education is increasingly more necessary, and the costs and competition for spots in these schools are becoming more difficult for people stuck in a sub-par high school or who simply can't afford
Bearing in mind that this is the 21st century, there is nothing as important as education. The educational requirements in any field of employment require that a person’s level of education be rather high. Therefore, it is important that all the people in my community access high levels of education so that they can be able to cope with the changing world and in turn, cause my community to experience sustainable development. I have observed that youths from minority groups largely drop out of school before graduation and this has led to low graduation rates in our school districts. The low graduation rate is not good for my community because it will lead to increase in the degree of unemployment and this may trigger the rate of crime.
This law suit is still in the process of being fought. It is all too common that the poor or needy is neglected and the wealthy is in the spotlight. Education is something that should be equal for all people and the access to not only an education, but a SUPERIOR education should be obtainable for people of all socio economic statues. As the gap between the rich and poor continues to widen, one can expect for education standards in urban areas to continue to decline. It will become more common for teachers to transfer schools after one semester if education budgets are continued to be cut in the WRONG areas.
The education reform did seek to expand democratic ideal but not up to its full potential. William G. McGuffey supported the ideal that all people deserve to get their own education and become more independent thinkers. It was very hard for poor people to afford going to school when the cost to attend school was so high. The poor had to work on getting food on the table at that time not worried on giving their children a public education. In that time education was very limited to everybody but those who were rich.

In comparison to the Utchille book the myth of retraining and better education is revisited in this chapter. Zweig explains that education is not a key to advancement to upward mobility however it still holds important value for occupations. The class structure indeed has not change and the reason of Upward Mobility being it can’t be erased and people have limits to who they can become as
In more laymen terms, it can be defined as the haves and the have not. Cullen describes the term as "the gap that exists in most countries between those with ready access to the tools of information and communication technologies (ICTs) and those without such access or skills" A good example of this could be the rural school systems against that of a big-city school. In rural school districts, their focus has to be more so on providing nourishment for their students, providing excellent direction from teachers, and keeping them free from danger or the risk of harm. These issues take ups most of their funding these problems take precedent in rural schools. The larger city school districts have to give some attention in this area; It is not their primary focus.
The truth is that sports weren’t a large part of the culture at the time, but is it also true that during this time period the seeds for modern day sports and leisure were planted. Also another major reason for the omission of references to sporting activities in these books is due to the nature of the stories being told, namely love stories or courtship narratives. So the main focus by the authors was not always on how the characters spent their leisure time, but more about establishing the background for the development of the relationships in the books. When the books did talk about
This goes against what any good government should do. A government should be there to make decisions that are going to benefit and help develop the state as a whole and not try to hold them back. This is just one example of how little the king really cared about the
As human beings, optimal health is dependent on making valuable contributions to the community in which we live and paid employment is one of the most common ways to achieve this. A lack of proper education is also contributing to the inability to obtain employment, leaving the future of the younger generation of these communities in jeopardy. This is due to cultural practices being emphasised over mainstream schooling and education. It is hardly surprising that Northern Territory students in 40 'Homeland Learning Centres'- so called schools that do not have qualified teachers every day- cannot read, write, or count with programs like teaching children to count with rocks and leaves. In 1988, the Government set a target to 'close the gap in Indigenous education' within four years, unfortunately this did not happen.
