They were borne out of dismay at the defeat in World War One. They were opposed to the Treaty of Versailles and Communism. It was this party that Hitler joined initially as a spy. However, Hitler took an immediate shine to the founder of the D.A.P, Anton Drexler and his anti-Semitic, nationalist, anti-capitalist and anti-Marxist ideas. Hitler soon became one of the leading lights of the party, his inspiring enthusiasm for the cause propelling him to the leadership of the small party very quickly.
As Hitler started to do more and more of the Nazi Party speeches, they became more popular and more and more people came to listen to him. He presented himself very strong and a symbol of hope for them. He was shown to be very articulate to the German Public which made him seem driven and that he knew what he was doing. This made him like a messiah figure. Hitler gave the Nazi Party a figure of authority, determination, dignity and dominance.
As a ruler, Adolf Hitler of the Nazi party had numerous successes but he also had he fair share of failures. At the beginning of World War II, Hitler was seen as a savior to the German nation because of his oratory skills, appeal to the people and his successes. One of his first successes came when he fulfilled his promises to the German people and reversed the Treaty of Versailles. After the death of Hindenburg in 1934, Hitler was seen as the successor. The German public saw Hitler as god-like with his vast power and glorifying the German race as being the “master race.” When he finally reversed the power of the Treaty of Versailles and rebuilt Germany’s armed forces, the German nation basically did as he told them to do.
His main task involved finding out who were Marxists, and on September 12, 1919, he investigated them at a hall in Munich, Sterneckerbrau, where a meeting took place. During the meeting, he gave a passionate speech that mesmerized his audience, and as a result, he was asked to join the German Worker's Party, to which he accepted. Abandoning his undercover spy mission, he became enthusiastic about the group and came to be highly immersed with their activities. In addition, he placed ads for rallies and public meetings in anti-Semitic newspapers. Soon enough, the German Worker's Party was changed to National Socialist German Worker's Party (NAZI).
'Popular Support For Hitler Was the Most Important Reason Why he Became Chancellor In January 1993' How Far do You Agree With This Statement? Hitler became Chancellor in January 1933, I believe that it the statement is partially true, Hitler was a clever man and with the aid of Joseph Goebbels he released many campaigns and propaganda throughout Germany spreading the Nazi's message and image getting people to vote for them. Not only that but with the Nazi's policies which some of them were aimed at particular groups like the nationalists or old age citizens, this too gained support. However it wasn't just popular support which got Hitler into power, the two previous chancellors in the Reichstag who were voted off helped as Hindenburg had no option but to make Hitler into the new Chancellor. My first point is how Goebbels used propaganda to aid Hitler.
Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany on 30th January 1933 when Hindenburg appointed him into this position. There were a number of factors which helped Hitler become Chancellor. One of these factors was the power of his speech and his personality when on public display. Hitler would hold large public meetings or huge rallies to tell spectators of his ideas and to inspire them. Presents at these rallies would be massive marching displays and music which would be followed by one of Hitler’s speeches.
This made him popular because most Germans were against the treaty too. Hitler knew how to make himself popular amongst the Germans. He gave responsibility to some of his most trusted followers the job to spread the ideas of the Nazis throughout Germany. He intended to do this by splitting Germany into districts. To convince children, teachers and students there were Nazi clubs which told them about the ways of the Nazis.
Despite the efforts of many to encourage Hitler’s appointment, there was no intention of forming a permanent leadership with him; the elite groups around Hindenburg planned to use Hitler to gain his support base, then abandon him when he was no longer needed. This was a huge misjudgement, particularly on Vice-Chancellor Papen’s part: a month after Hitler’s appointment, he told a conservative friend “within 2 months we will have pushed Hitler so far into a corner that he’ll squeak.” Papen completely underestimated
So Hitler decided to use mind games to manipulate his audiences. In Hitler’s declaration of war speech he used many strategies to allude his people. He needed the power of Germany behind him, So he chose his words wisely. In this speech Hitler declared war on what he called the “Unjust America.” Hitler told his people
After the war he worked for the government as a spy. He spied on the nationalist socialist German workers party (NAZI party). He was so impressed with them that he became their leader. The party adopted the swastika as its symbol. In 1923 he led an unsuccessful coup attempt known as a putsch in Munich.
