The main point of this essay is to explain how he was before, before he became obsessed with race, and started deciding for himself who was worthy of life. Before he tried to play God. Adolf Hitler was born in a small, out-of-the way town in Austria on the 20th of April, 1889. His family was one of peasants, his father, Alois Hitler an illegitimate child of a housemaid, his mother Alois’s third wife. Of the six siblings and stepsiblings that Hitler had, only he and a younger sister survived to adulthood. While Adolf slowly became sulkier and more of a loner, she didn’t notice and blew it off as teenage moods. About two years later when Hitler failed his examinations, he convinced his mother to leave school without graduating. He immensely enjoyed his new freedom, and immediately moved to Vienna, where he wished to enter in an art school. When Vienna rejected his application, he was quite nearly heartbroken, as he thought very highly of his artistic ability. Hitler only escaped this by turning traitor, in order to convince them that he was in fact on their side, he offered to identify any real Socialists. He was a great help in this field, and soon rose to be a political officer, whose main job was to teach politics to the soldiers. He now had an interested audience that would actually listen to his political rants. They began to use him as a spy, and once while listening in on a meeting, and someone made a point he disagreed with, he promptly stood up and began a very passionate speech on the matter. The leader of the meeting, a man named Anton Drexler, was extremely impressed by Hitler’s talent for public speech. He offered Hitler to join his political party, and Hitler accepted. In the beginning, he was the 54th member, but was almost immediately moved to the top. He was now the one who made the speeches at meetings, and it is widely believed that this is where he developed his expertise into persuasive
