Describe the various administrative problems in decision making ? Ans . The various administrative problems involved in decision making are 1. Soundness or correctness of the decision: One of the important administrative problems of the management in decision making is to see that the decision taken is sound or correct. Soundness or correctness of the decision depends on the following factors. a. The sophistication of the decision- maker. b. The accuracy of the information available to the decision maker. c. The ability of the decisionmaker to visualize all possible alternative courses of action available in a given situation. d. The technique of decision- making adopted b the decision maker. 2. The decision – environment : Another administrative problem involved in decision making is the general decision environment or atmosphere prevailing in the organization .The decision environment, physically as well as psychological, Prevailing in the enterprise influences the decision. 3. Timing of decision : Timing of decision is another important administrative problems involved in decision making. In decision making, the problems is not just taking a decision, but taking the decision at right time. If the decision is not taken at the right time, it will not serve any useful purpose. 4. Effective communication of the decision: Another important administrative problem involved in decision making is the effective communication of the decision making to those whom it is meant. The decision must be clear and free from ambiguity. It must be communicated in a simple languages that could be understood by all.
