Timing is very important, we need to give a reward (praise, stickers, extra attention) straight after they have done something good, otherwise it will be forgotten by the child very quickly. Communication is a two way process, it involves speaking, listening, hearing, understanding and replying. Communication can be both verbal and non-verbal. Sometimes non-verbal communication has a more powerful impact than verbal communication. Non-verbal communication includes all kinds of emotional expressions, actions, body language. If we communicate something positive, it brings back something positive to us, that is why developing a positive relationship is so important, this way we are more likely to inspire confidence and trust.

This is accomplished by understanding the personal competencies I already have that are strong and the ones that are weak. Then I will have to identify personal competencies that I will need to improve my critical thinking skills and come up with a plan to develop them. If you don’t get excited for anything then how will you push yourself to improve and be a better version of yourself? If you feel excited about something then be excited by doing it one hundred percent because its better to make a mistake quickly and learning from it as soon as you make it instead of barely trying and not improving because you didn’t make a mistake to learn from.
