Data Table Analysis Every company looks for new ways to create innovation and move forward on the path of success. This includes reviewing current practices to see if a change is necessary for progression on this path. Kudler currently uses methods for creating pivots tables. Pivot tables add crucial information to Kudler for the company’s inventory. Using the information on Kudler’s website in the intranet section provides for an understanding of how the company currently runs operations. Access data tables take an abundance of information and simplify the information into one particular area. The access data table on Kudler’s website joins the customer and inventory together. This is a good idea because the inventory coincides with what the customers purchase or do not purchase. The customer has shopping habits, food preferences, and a specific income. These items are important to inventory. The customer’s shopping habits show what the customer buys and how many times the customer will purchase certain items or any items. One customer may only purchase food on a specific day of the week while another customer may shop five days a week. The food preferences show what the customer is interested in. If a particular item is not selling and Kudler keeps ordering the item a loss will incur. The amount of income the customer has will also impact inventory. The location area for Kudler is a mid-range and above salary area. Therefore customers are willing to spend more on items and purchase more items. Customers purchasing inventory is the main function of this company. Watching for these aspects is critical for Kudler. An Excel PivotTable is used to view a set of data in different ways. For example, you can determine a business’s highest sales revenue or the lowest sales item for a specific quarter within the same PivotTable without moving around to different
