I am claiming that I am completely pro-life. My reasons for being pro-life are that: one, murder is wrong. Any form a killing a person is very wrong. There is no law that says killing a human being should go without punishment, abortion should be no different. Some argue that a fetus is not living yet, but I believe that it is alive at the time of conception, making it a human being and aborting it would be murder. Every person has a reason to live; they should all have a chance at life. The fetus is a potential human being and you are taking that right away from a person instantly being aborting it. Also, having an abortion can lead to medical complications in later pregnancies. Once you have an abortion you have a higher risk of miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. Another reason is that if you're not ready to have a baby, you shouldn’t have unprotected sex. Birth control is harmful to the conception method and abstinence should be the form of birth control. If you're not being careful and having unprotected sex and become pregnant, you should not be able to abort the fetus because you "made a mistake." You should not blame the baby for your mistake, if you can't keep the baby you can always put it up for adoption. There are many families that would love to adopt and just because you can't take care of a child doesn't mean that you shouldn't give another loving family that option. Having an abortion can also lead to psychological stress, and can lead to regret later on in life. A majority of the woman who has abortions are young teens who do not fully understand what they are doing to their body and the fetus.
Others that are pro-choice would fight against me. Some reasons being the they believe that the fetus is not living within the first trimester, making it okay to abort the baby within the first twelve weeks of pregnancy. They also think that because the fetus is not living that it should have no rights, also making it okay to...
