Born into Brothels: The Children and Pictures Speak Evaluation Zana Briski achieved a Master’s Degree in Theology and is an accomplished photographer. She has spent many years seeking help, hope and social change due to the treatment of women, young girls and infant girls in India. Zana first sought help to stop female infanticide in India. She wanted to bring awareness and social change from the brutal killing of baby girls because they are seen as burdens and of little worth. Her next project became the children of prostitutes in Calcutta.
Soon enough her father died and kids started picking on her about her complexion. Char the most popular girl in the grade, makes a deal with Maleeka that if she does her homework for her Char will always stick up for her and allow Maleeka to borrow clothes. Maleeka wants to be so liked by people in school she agrees and starts hanging out with Char. A new teacher than arrives at the school. Miss Saunders also gets made fun of because of the big blotch she has on her face which is her birth mark.
However, she agrees to the plan without much resistance, probably because she is fascinated by the sexual relationship she now finds herself innocently involved in, unbeknownst to the adults involved. Anne is essentially an innocent girl who finds herself sexually maturing and performing acts that go against her moral compass and is in a constant state of unbalance. Anne begins the story as a regular 11-year-old at softball practice with her best friend Louise, but together they stumble upon a very adult scene: their principal and art teacher in a sexual act in the classroom. They are both young girls, trying to act older than they are; they try to demonstrate their so-called maturity by swearing: “ ‘Bullshit,’ [Louise] said, for this was our favorite swear word and we used it indiscriminately” (Parabo 437). Like all young people trying to prove their maturity, they use the most mature words they know.
Since Liz doesn’t remember her past life, she can make better decisions than she did before , based on pure judgment. She will also learn to love her new family as well because she no longer knows her parents, Alvy, or Lucy. To conclude, if she’s careful Liz will get to live her life after fifteen like she’s always wanted. Liz will be able to go to prom like she’s always wanted, but with different friends because Zooey will be much older now and the two of them don’t know each other anymore. Liz will also get to go to college and live her life, and have a great career.
The quotes ‘If he ain’t, I better look someplace else, she said playfully’ and ‘Hi, Good-lookin’.’ These show all the workers think Curley’s wife is attractive and she knows this, so she’s being confident with them. It was unusual of women in the time of the great depression to be bubbly and playful as times were hard and money was tight. Another way in which Steinbeck presents women is as objects that are wanted but should not be obtained. The word "jail bait" is used to describe Curley's wife many times through the book, this word describes his wife in a way that presents her as a very attractive young girl, but the term jail bait can also be used to show that she is a danger to toy with. Despite the fact that she is constantly flaunting herself, if she is approached in any way it will cause conflict with Curley which could result in an altercation that could cause a prison sentence.

She became upset, believe that Maggie will ruin the quilts by putting them to use every day. She say that the priceless quilts will be destroyed. She just trying to improve herself on a new day for black American.
From my opinion this movie over a whole was great. Real reactions to real situation’s. It kept me interested with the kid’s witty banter towards their dance class as well as everything around them. To some people dance is just a hobby but to some of these kids it’s their dream to become a famous dancer, they would prefer this for their career when they grow up.
