A True Friend “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” is probably the most popular friendship phrase I have ever known. Some people said that a true friend is someone who is always there for you. Someone who would go along to the same path with you, willing to take the risks, and sacrifices for you. But does it mean that he should die for you? Or, does it mean that he should commit a bank rob whenever you need money? Here I am talking about a complicated connection of human beings. A form of human natural association. An intimate subject called friendship. We make friends in our life. A friend is someone that you know well. Someone you are familiar with. Someone you socialize in your daily life. They could be your schoolmates, neighbors, co-workers, or even someone you talk to on Facebook. We meet friends everyday. They can be anyone, in anywhere, at anytime, depends on your life experiences and your perspective. For me personally, My friend is someone I own, and I give the ownership of myself to. That is why it is called mine, my friend. My true friend is someone I loved and someone who loves me with honesty. Someone that truly care about me, and always tell the truth to me, even if it hurts me. Those who would say “no” to me, and those who never pretend anything just to make me feel good. Therefore, honesty and trust have always been a key for a true friendship. I believe they go along hand in hand to each other. The application of honesty in our social interaction could lead us to a better understanding to each other, and make us a better friend. Honesty leads us to an appreciation and sign of honor called a trust. Trust is the best award you could ever win from someone. When you get a trust from someone, it means that you have been invited to know him better. It means that you won his heart. It means that you made a better friend. Just like a
