“Life has loveliness to sell” means that life is beautiful and we should cherish everything our life has given to us. All the images are peaceful because beauty is a peaceful tone. The speaker says that music is like gold because so many people value it through out the world. The speaker uses human body parts that are beautiful and we should be thankful for. “Eyes that love you, arms that hold.” The eyes help us see beauty and the arms help us feel it.
The words in this poem were very easy to understand. One phrase that really stood out for me was, “Where thoughts serenely sweet express how pure, how dear their dwelling place.” Images: Did the poet create strong images? What could you see, hear, smell, taste, or feel? The poet did create strong images. I could visualize that the person he is talking about is the most beautiful individual ever.

Browning over-exaggerates the features and beauty of the nature of England almost making them come alive with her use of personification. The poem is very descriptive and also plays on all the five senses. She shows the sense of taste with the use of the word ‘sweeter’ in line 12, ‘ Made sweeter for the step upon the grass’ and also line 20, ‘Fed full of noises by invisible streams,’ the sense of hearing is shown using the word ‘noises.’ Browning also used the repetition to give the reader a sense of continuity. The world is so beautiful. Life in itself possesses the beauty of magic - the beauty of enchantment, and I help contribute to the divine splendour with my metamorphosis into the momentary butterfly under the duvets of this safe abode. The fruits of poetry and music has permanently stained my soul but is left in abundance seeking to pour its richness into this exuberant life, Ah, alas! I miss the jubilance of young Belle Reve. I miss the young innocent boys I taught so much to.
