A stolen life by Jaycee Dugard is a story based on jaycee’s experience. When she was kidnapped for eighteen years. She was kidnapped at the age 11 by convicted rapist Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy Garrido. She was walking to school one morning and that’s the day her life changed forever. Phillip saw her walking to the bus stop that morning while he was driving around with his wife looking for an innocent young girl to grab. To help his sex addiction and as he was driving they came across jaycee. They pulled over and grabbed her threw her in the car and knocked her out unconscious. When they reached there destination the sexual abuse begin right away. From that moment forward she wasn’t allowed to say her own name. That day June 1991 jaycee’s life as a kid ended. Her life was stolen. Phillip and his wife keep jaycee is the backyard in a shack so no one could find her. He keeps her in there with the door locked at all times with no clothing all she has to cover herself is towels. They are actually very interested in his business so the more they began to look into it they become very curious to who these two young ladies are that are always very quiet .They started to question the A and G the suspicion starts to add up so do some more investigating and came to Phillips house where they found Jaycee and her daughters on August 24th 2009. When she was rescued she immediately tried to protect her kidnapper because he was the father of her two kids and she truly believed he loved her.After a lot of therapy she realized that what he did was wrong and disgusting on so many levels she wanted him and his wife to pay for what they did to
